1961 09-06-1990 Glen Avon, Toodyay-Northam Road Heron, White-faced Seventy-three on dams at Glen Avon. They commenced congregating in May and reached a peak of 73 in first week of June. Within a week most had dispersed. By Jim Masters
1962 03-06-1990 West Coondle Reserve Thornbill, Yellow-rumped A pair building a nest about a month early. Deserted before completion. By Max Howard
1963 03-06-1990 Seabrook, via Northam Curlew, Little One bird around homestead at Seabrook. Seemed to have damaged wing. By Lindsay Milhinch
1964 15-05-1990 Glen Avon, Toodyay-Northam Road Bustard, Australian Single bird on Glen Avon. First sighting for 30 years. Bad locust plague in the district at this time and this may have caused the bird to venture this far south. Also report of five birds at Gingin. By Jim Masters
1965 15-05-1990 Coondle West Road Cockatoo, White-tailed (Carnaby's) First sighting for four and a half months. By Dorothy Harwood
1966 14-05-1990 Dowerin-Goomalling Road, Goomalling Bustard, Australian One bird sighted 8km from Goomalling. First sighting for many years. By Beryl Boase
1967 10-05-1990 Coondle West Road Robin, Red-capped First sighting for two years. By Dorothy Harwood.
1968 20-04-1990 Northam Cemetary Parrot, Port Lincoln One bird coming out of tree hollow. By Jim Masters

1971 02-04-1990 West Toodyay Parrot, Swift One of the swift parrot species flying over West Toodyay. Not positive ID but in the swift family. By Ross McDougall

1973 29-03-1990 Near Katrine Homestead Curlew, Little One bird seen running from edge of roadway during daylight hours. By Elaine Hall

1975 28-03-1990 Julimar Springs Parrot, Red-capped One bird in garden. First sighting for three years. By Marion Pitcher
1976 15-03-1990 16km north of York Eagle, Wedge-tailed Two adults and two young birds, flying over farmland. By Bill Hamersley
