1 12-01-2018 129 Stirlingia Drive, Toodyay Australian Magpies 12 Magpies are regularly visiting for delicacies, including trapped mice, to show off their four young. These birds are those released a number of years ago as a 'mob'from care.
2 06-01-2018 Stirlingia Drive, Toodyay Fox; Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) Crossing creek early morning (7.33am). Recorded by sensor camera.
3 01-01-2018 129 Stirlingia Drive Toodyay Golden Orb Spider Photographed- extensive, magnificent web which is glittering gold in the sunshine. Mrs golden Orb is collecting a large cache for her future offspring.
4 28-12-2017 Dumbarton Bridge Avon River Pelican, Australian 3 pelicans on the river
5 28-12-2017 Stirlingia Drive, Toodyay Wasp, Unidentified A wasp, possibly some sort of digger or paper wasp, seen attacking a sergeant ant in the garden. The wasp flew off when I stumbled on it, however I think it had the better of the ant.

7 27-12-2017 Stirlingia Drive, Toodyay Fox; Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) Crossing log across creek at 2.20am. Recorded on sensor camera.
8 26-12-2017 Sandplain Road, near Toodyay Road Black-Cockatoo, Carnaby's Large flock Carnabys flying overhead. Approx 30 birds. 5.45AM
9 20-12-2017 1650 Julimar Road, Toodyay Python, Carpet (Morelia spilota imbricata) 16.50 - Photographed by Lou and Anne Kidd. The adult python was moving across the upper deck of their home.
10 20-12-2017 263 Harders Chitty Road, Toodyay Black-Cockatoo, Red-tailed One male and three female adult parrots came and fed on casuarina nuts on a tree on this property at approximately 4.15pm
11 14-12-2017 Wilkerson Rd Toodyay Monitor, Gould's (Varanus gouldii) On the road. Adult. Stayed still until I stopped, reversed and waved out the window with a shooing noise, then took off to the side of the road. First one I've seen in the area

13 11-12-2017 Ellerys Pool Pelican, Australian 4pm - Photographed - 7 plus birds sitting on two submerged tree trunks together with two Yellow Spoonbills, an unidentified duck and a Black Cormorant and, maybe, a Little Pied Cormorant.
14 11-12-2017 Wetland at James' Cottage Spoonbill, Yellow-billed 2.30pm - not photographed - 2 or 3 birds wading on the edge of the wetland.
15 11-12-2017 Opposite 1650 Julimar Road, Toodyay Python, Carpet (Morelia spilota imbricata) 6.50am-Photographed by Lou and Anne Kidd a large reptile resting in the fork of a tree between the road and the fire access track.
16 11-12-2017 Sandplain Road, Toodyay Sandswimmer, Broad-banded (Eremiascincus richardsonii) This fella was about 200mm long, found in the lounge. We let him go near the fish pond which he almost immediately jumped into and had a drink, so was obviously very thirsty, he was able to then climb out and resumed his holiday this time under the house!!
